About Us

Hello and welcome to Flavours Cookery School!

We’re a new cookery school located at Sidings Business Park, in Whalley. From our purpose-built kitchen and dining facilities we host cookery courses and social events centred around healthy, nutritious and balanced home-cooking.

It is our aim to teach both children and adults about home cooking and healthy eating. Our weekly classes cover all things from baby, toddler, teen and adult cookery courses, to social gatherings; coffee mornings, diet groups and private events & parties.

To bring out the inner chef in you we have a team of friendly, experienced and knowledgeable professionals who can teach you everything you need to know about healthy cooking.

Meet the team

Carolyn
As a mother of two girls I know exactly how it feels to be rushing around trying to provide that nutritious meal, whilst building a business. Flavours Cookery School is here to support and inspire a love for cooking, promoting healthy eating and nutrition with children and their families. As the founder of Flavours; I am an experienced home cook with a passion and enthusiasm for supporting families within the local community, developing and supporting childrens individual skills, supporting their confidence and scaffolding their learning for a love for food and cooking. I can’t wait to show you around. We provide classes for both children and adults and are always looking at new ways to support the community.
Graeme
Hi. My name is Graeme and I’ve been working for Flavour since April 2019, helping founder Carolyn with the ideas process for her exciting venture and I will be helping at the Cookery School. I enjoy learning about cookery and have a passion for cooking at home. As a children’s swimming instructor, I also have a passion to help children learn what I view to be a vital life skill in cookery. I also see the value in learning new skills or pursuing a new hobby at any stage of life, which Flavours can certainly help with. I look forward to meeting you at our amazing venue soon!
